Tobogganing on your winter holiday

Adventure by sledge or on the tracks

Snow as far as the eye can see and you, right in the middle of it, on the mountain with a sledge, ready to go and whizz down the slope. It's so much fun!

In the Zillertal Arena at Hainzenberg in Gerlosstein this enjoyment stretches for a distance of 7km. It is the longest toboggan run in Tyrol and was rated the best toboggan run in Austria by ADAC in 2011. Tobogganing here should not be missed!

There is even more sledging fun to be had in the Zillertal Valley:

  • Gerlos: Krummbachtal toboggan run, 1.5km long, floodlit in the evenings
  • Wald/Königsleiten:
    • Toboggan run at Finkenhof: 500m long, low gradient, perfect for children
    • Königsleiten: 950m long
  • Krimml: Natural toboggan run, 2.2km long, only for practiced sledgers, floodlit in the evenings
  • Hochkrimml: Filzsteinalm toboggan run, 1.5km long, floodlit in the evenings

Adrenaline rush on the Alpine roller coaster

The arena coaster offers a different kind of tobogganing adventure: Tobogganing on the Alpine roller coaster. The 1450m long rapid ride gets going directly from the valley station of the Zillertal Arena in Zell and is also very close to Hotel Bräu. Enjoy the adrenaline rush through the steep curves, with 360° and 540° turns!
